MikuBot is a ticket bot for Discord. This page explains, in plain words, what it stores and why.
What MikuBot stores
- Your server’s settings: log channel, ticket role, categories, panel text, colors and who can use the commands.
- The IDs of servers, channels, roles and members linked to open tickets.
- Your announcement channel, if you choose one. If you don’t, MikuBot looks at your channel list and permissions to pick one when it posts an announcement, and doesn’t store that.
- Images you add to the panel or ticket messages, saved in a private Discord channel run by MikuBot.
- Ticket messages, only to build the transcript when a ticket is closed or when staff ask for one.
- If you log in to the dashboard: your Discord ID, name and server list, through Discord login, plus a cookie to keep you logged in.
Transcripts
When a ticket closes, the transcript is sent to your server’s log channel and to the ticket owner by DM. MikuBot does not keep a copy.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data or show ads. We only share it with the services needed to run the bot: Discord, our hosting provider, and Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects the dashboard login.
Deleting your data
Run *resetall in your server to remove its settings and tickets. Removing the bot stops all collection. For anything else, ask on our Discord server.
Children
MikuBot is not meant for anyone under the minimum age Discord allows.
Changes
We may update this page. The date at the top shows the latest version.
